Serving beekeepers and the public in Utah’s Salt Lake Valley

About Us

Wasatch Beekeepers Association is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization registered in the state of Utah. WBA is governed by elected (officers) and appointed volunteers from the club’s membership. Each year, in November, the club holds a potluck dinner and election to determine officers for the next year from members who volunteer. Send any questions to [email protected].

Everything we do is designed to provide a sense of community and education to the individual beekeepers in need.  We rise to protect the pollinators and aid the public in learning about beekeeping.

Today, thousands of children and their families are learning about beekeeping – we make education, mentoring opportunities, and beekeeping resources easily accessible to everyone. With our community of members, we host monthly meetings and contribute to community events, including the Utah State Fair, the Daybreak Ladybug Festival, the Utah Museum of Natural History and USU Extension events.

The practice of beekeeping dates back at least 4,500 years.
